Soon, ASU researchers will be able to see vital details on their subjects – down to the molecular level. The National Science Foundation (NSF) awarded ASU a total of $59.8 million this year, including a $3.2 million award that will enable ASU to acquire a new cyro-Electron microscope. Cryo-EM was hailed as “Method of the Year” by Nature in 2015 and the microscope will, among other things, help researchers make better medicines.
