In FY 2016, NAU earned an Excellence in Innovation Award from the American Association of State Colleges and Universities for its advancement of three community-development partnerships:Northern Arizona Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology; the Economic Collaborative of Northern Arizona; and Innovation Mesa.
