NAU professor becomes an invention ambassador

Dr. Bertrand Cambou, who joined NAU in 2015, was named an Invention Ambassador by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and the Lemelson Foundation. Invention Ambassadors are tasked with influencing and informing public policy, including but not limited to federal and university policies, and highlighting the importance of creating and inspiring talent.

Known for his cybersecurity expertise and research, Cambou is one of two representatives from Arizona to join the AAAS invention ambassadors this year.
