Three UA Faculty Members Named AAAS Fellows

A global network of scientists elected UA faculty members – Carol Bender, Judith K. Brown and Dennis L. Lichtenberger – American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Fellows, a prestigious distinction awarded to those who are advancing science in ways that are considered scientifically or socially distinguished.

Formed in 1848, AAAS is the world’s largest multidisciplinary scientific society and is known for leading publication of cutting-edge research through its Science family of journals.
